Football Uniforms
Welcome to my website where I will be discussing the many components of a football uniform.  Football uniforms come in many different sizes. There are football uniforms for children as well as adults.  The team football uniforms are identified by a particular color or design.  The first component I would like to discuss is the jersey.  Jerseys have evolved since the game of football was invented.  Football jerseys in the early 1900’s had long sleeves.  The long sleeves came in handy during the winter months, but in the summertime it must have been miserable.  Football jersey sleeves shortened during the 1970’s.  Football jerseys were also made with small holes to keep the player cool.  As years pass the football uniform continued to evolve.  Football uniforms today seem to have more style than those uniforms of old.  Football uniforms today are form fitting.  These types of football uniforms are hard for the opponent to grip.  Technology has afforded the jersey to stay dry during rainy weather or sweat.  Football pants are another part of the uniform that has come a long way.  Football pants today have a snug and comfortable fit.  The skill position players seem to prefer the smaller, tighter fit.  Last but not least I would like to talk about football shoes.  Football shoes in the past had no support.  Traction on the field was difficult to maintain due to lack of quality and variety.  Football shoes today vary depending on what position you play.  Football cleats are interchangeable to best suit the surface that’s being played on.  Football uniforms change by the day.  Every football uniform being worn is different from the other.  Color schemes and design help separate each football team.  Some teams choose bright colors for their football uniforms, while other teams choose to go the plain route.  No matter what color scheme you choose, it should always appeal to the fans.  Fans love nice football uniforms.
